At the risk of actually commenting on some bike racing, Dr. Jones won
both the TT and the RR at the journo worlds. Chapeau!

In the 35-50 age category! Sandbagger. Everyone under 45 should race
open. Who were you avoiding, Jeff?

Journo worlds? PUH-LEEZ. Less competitive than most Cat. 2 races in the
U.S.

This is like Giana Roberge flying all over the world to collect what is
a meaningless rainbow jersey just so she can tell the people around her
she is a "world champion."

There's way too many trophies given out in this sport through these
silly races with dumbed down competition.

Stop it, Jeff.

That's easy. Sobriety on the night before the event is above the
line, intoxication is below.

I agree. At least I beat everyone in the TT.

Beer (Liefmans Goudenband) has never tasted so sweet.

That beer will lead to a positive testosterone test as the L'Equipe
reporters that you crushed in the race get the LNDD to randomly test
you out of competition. In fact, your future positive has already been
leaked by the LNDD to L'Equipe, read tomorrow's issue.

Thanks! I'm still waiting for the leaked test results. It's entirely
possible that the samples are being redistilled, of course.

They'll try to prove that you were doping. After all, only a dope would
leave such a lucrative (!) job at Cyclingnews (eyes roll).

It's not about the trophies, it's the smack talk in the press room
during all those boring races you're always talking about.
