Firecracker Ride

Anyone signed up to ride tomorrow? I decided last minute to do the half metric and am wondering two things; is the registration line going to be long...in other words should I plan on getting there at 6:30 or would 7 be ok? and how is the route, hilly, flat or in between? Thanks!

Yes, a large number of folks that read/post on this site will be there tomorrow. It's a HUGE crowd and you cannot park at Saltbox Village, so you need to get there in plenty of time to find a parking spot, ride or walk over to Saltbox and come back to your vehicle to set up your equipment. There's usually plenty of parking in one of several office buildings located on Commonwealth Court. I would get there no later than 7am if you have not registered. I have not ridden the 50K before. The 100K is a rolling course.

Thanks! I rode the 50K this morning, and it was a slow start with so many people, but then it began to spread out. Nice route!
