I sort of made it out tonight, I was late to the ride start after picking up my new bike from Matt (Cary Cycle Surgeon) but did manage to get out about 8 miles and then head back in, my seat didn't want to stay at the proper height oh the joys of working the kinks out on a new bike. But, I LOVE THE CARBON! I can tell it will be different getting used to a compact but I think i can manage! Sorry I missed all of you but I will see you all next week if not sooner. I am doubtful for tomorrow's ride as the seat issues won't be resolved until about 9am so i will miss the ride start tomorrow too, no worries!

Hope you all had great rides tonight!

Dave

Another hot but good ride. Thanks to Tommy and Wayne for leading the fast and middle groups. My stats are posted here.

Cool

Had a good ride tonight - I did not find it to be hot - I guess growing up around New Orleans changes what one feels is hot lol. I got dropped again by the fast group it took them a bit longer and once I knew I could not join the group I just stopped worrying about it and road as fast as I could. I am riding Friday since I am off and Saturday and Sunday if my body and legs can do it. My cycling computer which has my heart rate monitor in it died during the ride - hope it is just the battery

That is four different services giving four different ascents from the same ride.
Many thanks to Rick and others for responding. I'm just trying to get a point of reference.
