Hello

Hello. My name is Paul. I live in Cary and have been cycling for a little more than a year. I mostly enjoy road biking but also enjoy some trail riding in Umstead. I have been mostly riding solo but I am looking to participate in more group rides. I rode with the Slow Spokes on Saturday for the first time and hope to do it agai next weekend, I also hope to meet and learn from folks who are enjoy doing their own bicycle maintainence and repair.

Hi Paul,

Welcome to the cycling world!

Watch this forum for rides. I don't know your speed or skill set , however, Slow Spokes is good to get started with. TeamCBC is a great place to learn group riding and improve your skills as well. There are also various other groups and LBC rides. It is almost ride season so feel free to join whenever you like!

Both Slow Spokes and TeamCBC have sections below, and TeamCBC has cycling info on training, nutrition et al on their website at www.teamcbc.com.

Bob
