I'm happy to announce that I will see ya'll tomorrow. It will be a recovery ride for me, but a different type of recovery. I won't do the whole 30, but I'll tootle along as best I can.

Hey Paul!

Great. Sounds like your recovery is proceeding nicely. We'll take it easy on you!

This is going to be a recovery ride for me as well. I scraped the asphalt pretty hard today, cross tires, went down and broke my helmet in 5 places. Really sore muscles and road rash is what I got. Bike is fine. Lucky I guess. First bad crash in three years. Then I rode 56 miles at 22 MPH (or something like that. Have no idea what we averaged).

Buying a new helmet now. Borrowing Bob D's for tomorrow.

Bob

Bob - sorry you wrecked but glad you are okay! I'm planning on keeping pace w/ Paul which will probably be less than the full loop. Let's just take it easy and do whatever. You'll probably be stiff in the morning so let's just try and work the kinks out (all of us)

Since I've barely touched my bike since the MS150, the last thing I need is a recovery ride. Just want you to know I'm still here and the biggest fan that shows up the least, but as soon as I get the yard work done and house ready to sell, I'm there. Actually, it will be before that.
Bob, sorry to hear about your tumble. I hope you are feeling better.

Cool

I had a really nice ride - there were 3 places on this route where I had to get off the trike - once to lift it over some rocks blocking the entrance - thanks Tim - the second was some stairs that everyone had to carry their bikes down - the third was a board walk that was very narrow and the 90 degrees left hand turn that was just too sharp for the trike to make - also there was a hill that I never saw but was advised would be impossible for me to carry my trike up like the bicyclist had to do - Bob showed me a way to ride around it - Thanks Bob - there were about 12 of us on the ride
