[Mar 9, 2013] NC Rides to the Capitol, by Oaks and Spokes (Raleigh, NC)

Join other cyclist advocates downtown on Saturday March 9th for a show of support for better treatment of cyclists and pedestrians on the road, in the law and in transportation policy. A legislative and policy agenda summit meeting held by the North Carolina Active Transportation Alliance (pre-registration required) will be followed by a bike ride and a walk downtown (free, register at event). The five mile ride will proceed at a moderate pace suitable for all experience levels.

Event Schedule
10:00 – 11:30 a.m. Legislative and Policy Agenda Caucus (pre-registration required; see NCATA web site)
11:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Bike ride registration on site (free)
11:30 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. Meet with public officials at Bicentennial Mall
11:45 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Bike ride and walk
